Privacy policy: Mackinder's Heartland
Effective date: 2 November 2026
Mackinder's Heartland is a single-player strategy game for Android, published by CopperCloud.
What data we collect
None. The game does not collect, store on our side, or send any personal or device data. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no crash reporting, and it makes no network connections while you play.
What stays on your device
The game keeps a few things on your phone so it can work:
- your saved games (three save slots and an autosave);
- your settings, such as text size, colour mode and sound levels;
- whether you finished or skipped the tutorial.
This data never leaves your device through the game, and we cannot see it. If you have turned on Android's own device backup, Android may include this data in your backup. That backup is handled by Google under your Google account, not by us.
Sharing
We do not share, sell or transfer any data, because we do not have any.
Children
The game is not aimed at children under 13. It collects no data from anyone, of any age.
Deleting your data
To delete everything the game has stored, uninstall it, or go to Settings > Apps > Mackinder's Heartland > Storage > Clear storage (called "Clear data" on some phones).
Changes to this policy
If the game changes how it handles data, we will update this policy before that version is released and change the effective date above.
